Being a very active member of the startup ecosystem, Shruti conducts a lot of events around the year, thereby helping potential entrepreneurs in turning ideas into a full-fledged business.

Shruti also run an NGO with name WeSpark Startup Association (Wessa) specifically to help startups in facing challenges.

The Reason For Founding The StartupLab

While working in a VC Firm, Shruti used to analyse and study how the startup ecosystem works.

As the work experience grew, she realized entrepreneurs have ideas but don't know how to execute them. She recognized entrepreneurs don't know how to monetize their passion and turn that into my business.

Shruti says, "Making an idea work is no easy task for everyone. One has to face many hurdles in terms of legal, financial, or at the management level. And there is this point when many startups fail in India. There is no shortage of great minds and ideas in our country, but lack of knowledge and its improper implementation forces many good startups to shut down."

So, to provide entrepreneurs with a platform where they can get the right guidance to execute their ideas and solution to all the legal hassles of starting a company, Shruti started The Startup Lab.
