How will you Introduce Yourself to the world?

OneAbove can be introduced as an initiation to bring back re-moralization in the healthcare industry. OneAbove was initiated to include Covid essential products when the country was struggling with the pandemic. All the citizens were looking for products such as thermometers and oximeters, but they were getting those devices at increased rates as companies wanted to fetch more profit even during distress times. To counter that, OneAbove had to come into play. Our objective is to help people care about their health and help them live a healthy life by the way of having access to quality healthcare products at “value for money” based pricing. Our mission is “Doing business while serving mankind”. We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified company.

 

Tell our readers about your achievements till today. 

The biggest achievement we can count on is serving mankind. We have not increased the rate of essential healthcare products even when the country was struggling with the serious second wave. We were determined to provide high-quality essential healthcare products at the most affordable rates possible. We have seen people struggling to get those products, and we have reduced their struggle a bit. This is our major achievement. Another achievement is that we have a strong team of more than 300 distributors across the country that assist us in reaching the masses. Like us, our distributors too have the vision to serve mankind while doing business.

 

Tell us about your start-up!

Everything OneAbove does is for the people and their welfare. OneAbove believes that most of the diseases can be either cured or their seriousness can be brought down with the right diagnosis. All the health professionals claim that timely diagnosis can easily save the later sufferings. Keeping the professionals’ view in mind, we made it our endeavour to provide the public, at large, various self-care and healthcare products. It will not only eliminate or shorten the journey to an unhealthy life but also lead to earlier therapeutic intervention and reduce the costs associated with indecision at the same time, benefiting both patients and healthcare providers.

As a company, OneAbove prioritizes quality checks so that you get the best quality health products at your service. OneAbove is also eligible to provide its certified medical devices to government sectors, MNCs, NGOs, and many more such organizations. Having said that, every day that OneAbove works, it has two things in mind—to provide affordable medical devices to the public and to make the world a little better. 

 

What is the most important thing you are working on right now, and how are you making it happen?

The most important thing we are working on right now is to reach more people across the country and increase our products’ range. Though we have a strong team of 300+ distributors, it is not enough to cover the entire country. We are looking forward to reaching the rural areas too as they are the ones who lack access to quality healthcare products. Apart from that, we are working on increasing our affordable products’ range.

 

What were the challenges that you faced, and what are the current challenges? Mention the top three challenges for both.

The top three challenges we have faced are difficulty in establishing a presence in the market, procuring high-quality devices, and making sure people trust our brand. Talking about the first, there was a need to establish a strong B2B and B2C market network across the country.

The next challenge was to procure the best devices. We had to ensure the high quality and affordable pricing of the products that we were thinking to include in our portfolio. It was a real challenge as the market was stuffed with low-quality and unnecessarily expensive products. The last challenge was to make sure that people trust our brand with whatever trust they were left with, for the healthcare industry. People of this country have been tagged by companies who increased their prices when we all were struggling. Above that, there were products which showed abnormal readings too. Establishing ourselves in that time of low trust was a real challenge.

 

What was the reason behind founding this start-up?

In this pandemic, we were hurt to see people struggling to get important medical devices due to their above-average prices in the market. Another problem that we saw was the high availability of fake products. Shops have purchased low-quality, cheap products and sold them at high rates claiming those products as the best. Many people complained of abnormal readings and cheap quality products.

Watching all the problems closely, we were determined to find a solution. Following the vision of helping millions, OneAbove Health Care, a health and wellness venture, was founded to offer total healthcare solutions at value for money. 

 

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

 Within the next 5 years, we see ourselves as the brand people trust completely. With their benefits in mind, we wish to increase our products’ range in the next couple of years. Alongside that, we also wish to cover the whole country so that no one has to pay extra prices for any essential healthcare product.

Our main learning for the entrepreneurs will be to focus on a genuine problem in the market and bring a humane solution for that. Try to re-moralize all the industries so that no one is exploited in any scenario. Together, we have the power to make this world a better place.
