I am Ragini Varma, I look after Growth and Marketing for Fynd Platform. Previously, I was leading growth for the ecommerce vertical for Fynd. I love understanding customer journeys and helping customers/brand partners use our product better!
Tell our readers about your achievements till today
When I joined Fynd, I was working as a growth associate and started understanding the user funnel better. Eventually, I was leading Fynd helping it acquire users and grew the base from a few millions to 20 million users and transactions up to 100k orders a day! I was also instrumental in ensuring we understand what the customers want and helped drive the product direction.
Tell us about Fynd Platform, current initiatives, campaigns, etc.
Fynd Platform helps the brand get their business online. You just need to plug and play your catalogue and you can create your website in 30minutes flat! Fynd Platform is a complete solution for retail brands/homepreneurs who want to go online and have payment gateway, logistics support, and marketing support in one place!
We do understand covid has upset a lot of businesses and with retail stores being shut, reaching their customer at the right time is the need of our hour!

What's the most important thing that Fynd Platform is working on right now, and how are you making it happen?
Fynd platform helps to bridge the gap between offline and online stores! Right now, our focus is on building a complete SAAS suite which not only helps to create your website but also helps in integrating your offline POS system and helping list your products on marketplaces like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Fynd etc.
What are the challenges Fynd Platform has faced post covid?
With the retail stores shutting down due to covid, it became imperative for brands to get their business where their customers were. Covid made people understand the value of owning an online presence other than the marketplace.
What was the main reason to launch Fynd Platform? What market problem does it aim to solve?
Shopsense (our parent company) aimed to bridge the gap between online and offline store with their omnichannel solution. It became super easy to integrate inventory from your warehouse, retail store and online store which in turn meant no more loss of sales for the brand. Fynd Platform was launched as the next step, where we wanted to give our brand partners a one stop solution where you can create your website, manage inventory and orders across channels (that is Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) in one place.
Where do you want to see your brand in the next 5 years ?
In the next 5 years, we want to become the default partners for any type of business that want to go online. That means from homepreneurs to large enterprises, we hope to make our product the easiest and the most user-friendly tool out there!

Always build in public and listen to your customers. We kept tweaking our designs for Fynd Platform based on customer feedback and review which has helped us immensely.
Do you see the current regulations of the country offer a level playing field to players like Fynd platform?
From the regulation point of view, it is a level playing field for everyone. We want our brand partners to succeed and that’s what we do!
