It was all professional bliss, soaring and peaking. And on foreign soil, no less.
A super job, fetching the incumbent jaw-dropping returns: a monthly earning that could inspire gasps, a luxury-plus apartment, an enviable four-wheeler,the works. And then, unexpectedly, a turn of events occur – virtually out of thin air – upsetting the karmic applecart.
Fate unleashes a twist that’s merciless in intent and ruthless in result, sparking off a trail of life that falls nothing short of the unimaginable.
Could this be the real-life ongoing narrative of Abhishaik  Chitraans : International Financial Advisor and Internal Auditor, M.Com,M. A. (Economics), M. B. A.(Sales & Finance), numerologist, graphologist, poet, writer and Founder-CEO of ‘Ankakshr Miracless’?
Ajit Ramachanddran fetches the facts…

FLASHBACK MODE
Beira City, Mozambique, South Africa

In June 2009, Abhishaik Chitraans, then 28, had chucked his job with an Iron & Steel firm in Dubai, joining a shipping firm at Beira at a much-multiplied salary as International Financial Advisor and Internal Auditor. A mere two days into his high-flying post, the youngster was earning raves already. And then came in disaster, unannounced and sinister.“I was doing my routine work,” he reminisces, “And then suddenly, I felt that I couldn’t stand or walk on my two legs.I found to my horror that my lower limbs from chest to leg had got completely paralysed! When I was admitted to the hospital at Mozambique, I was totally worried and anxious. I lay down on the bed for a check-up. And from that fateful day onwards, I have never been able to get up from my bed.”

CURRENT STATUS
Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India
Bed-ridden, since the past twelve years, Chitraans has been grappling with ‘Transverse Myelitis’ (TM)- a rare disorder broadly described as “inflammation of the spinal chord,” a debilitating condition that could easily hurtle the afflicted into an abyss of despair. TM can strike at all age groups ranging from young children to the aged, regardless of family history or gender.

 Illness Identity
At the Mozambique Hospital, I was treated as a paraplegic,” says Chitraans, “There were no MRI machines there, but when I was finally brought down to India, we did an MRI scan. And the disease was identified as ‘Transverse Myelitis'.”

Myelitis Unveiled
The disease produces weakness, especially in the arms and legs. In addition to pain and discomfort, there are symptoms such as numbness and tingling. Bowel and bladder dysfunction problems also occur from time to time. “I was  also dealing with bed-sores, tension and depression,” he says, “More than 100-plus people are suffering from TM in our country. But I don’t think that the Government has provided any specific support or medical treatment to them, as per my knowledge.”

Government, Lend Me Your Ears…
“I’m among the youngest people in the world to be diagnosed with ‘Transverse Myelitis.’ Since allopathic treatment was proving to be too costly, I have switched over to homeopathic medicine. Earlier on, I had approached the Government, the CM and PM to get help towards my medical expenses. But I haven’t received any positive response from them, as yet. In this type of situation, guided physiotherapy is a necessary tool to recover better, so the Government should arrange to open free advanced physiotherapy centres with pick-up and drop facility in that city or area, where there is a patient who is living and suffering with their TM ailment.”

Online Turnaround
“Once I realised what my situation truly was,I also understood that I needed to start rebuilding my life in whatever manner I could. Information Technology proved to be the answer. Writing was my childhood hobby and I started writing poems, short stories and articles. I use my laptop on the table formed by my stomach and chest. I started participating in writing competitions and was always awarded and rewarded. I also read a lot of spiritual texts such as the Puranas,Bhagavad Gita, Ramcharitmanas, Srimad Bhagavata, Valmiki Ramayan and others, which helped greatly in bringing positivity into my life and reshaping my thinking, in addition to bringing peace into my life. And before I forget, I have definitely considered writing my autobiography, to tell the world my story in my own words.”

Gratitude Plus
“I’m fortunate that I have such a great family, friends and colleagues who support me whole-heartedly. My two younger brothers have taken full responsibility of the entire family. I also contribute whatever I can, but there has never been any pressure from my family members, as regards money matters. I build my career as a numerologist, learning the subject from my Gurus: NumroVani Sidhharrth S Kumaar and NumeroYogi Sumeet Kumar Tyagi. Apart from my Gurus, I also consider them to be my spiritual life coaches. The altered spelling, the name synchronisation of my name was done jointly by both my Gurus. With my new identity as ‘Abhishaik Chitraans,’ and following their guidance closely, I found tremendous positive changes both, in my personal and professional life. I also have the highest gratitude for Mr. Pavan Badllani, my Guru, who taught me Graphology.”

Number & Alphabet Mystery!
“I am the Founder-CEO of ‘Ankakshr Miracless’ (The Institute of Occult Sciences, Spiritual Activities and Research) registered by the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India and ISO-certified. ‘Ankakshr Miracless’ stands for the mystical magic of numbers and alphabets. Since 2019, I have been doing the study and research on various systems of numerology, learnt many different systems of numerology that are being followed globally. Numerology is a divine science dealing with the cosmic world of numbers. It is also the smallest language of the world. Only 10 numbers are sufficient to figure out the hidden facts of any native, and know the deep secrets and directions from the Universe. I want to spread my knowledge around the globe, because nothing is mine, I have taken from the Divine. But whether it is Numerology, Graphology or any other subject, I see myself as a teacher and more importantly, as a student also.”

Out With Fake Sympathy!
“I have never indulged in or encouraged self-pity. Nor do I want anybody else’s pity or false compassion. I am a professional in my own right. And like anybody else, I would like to be judged on the basis of my strengths, talents and capabilities. I have been awarded in the field of Numerology and have published two research papers in the subject too. My numerological research articles have also being published in renowned magazines, online platforms and journals. More than 100 students have learned Numerology from me in the past one year. In the last three years, many celebrities, businessmen, students and other individuals, from India and abroad have consulted me and benefitted from my guidance in their life, career and relationship matters.”

Cinema   Scope
“I do feel that my life story should be made into a film. And the one actor who should play my character is Hrithik Roshan. He played a quadriplegic in ‘Guzaarish’ who is paralysed in all four limbs. Hrithik did a great job of the role with his sensitive acting. I feel director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who made ‘Guzaarish’, should direct this film too, because he was able to handle such a delicate subject in such a beautiful and intense manner.”

Brighter Vintage
In November 2021, Scorpio-man Chitraans will “complete 40 lovely winter seasons,” as he aptly puts it. And at this joyful juncture of turning forty, Chitraans is hopeful that the time ahead will usher in recovery and relief, ridding him of this malaise once and for all. “I have achieved all the steps that I intended to complete with the help of my Gurus, my isht devta Lord Shiva and Lord Ram,” he says, “In my dreams, I have always seen myself teaching, travelling, sitting in the garden or at official meetings, never bed-ridden. And one day, I’m sure I will stand on my two legs once again.”

The ‘serious illness’ image looms large over Abhishaik Chitraans.
Mind well, there’s serious success too.
