International Women's Day is celebrated annually on 8 March. It offers an opportunity to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
Woman is a personification of love, resilience, strength and beauty and although her existence should be celebrated everyday but to mark her contributions we have International Women's Day dedicated to her.

March 8 every year. To commemorate the splendour of womanhood Eminent painter and singer of international fame Soumita Saha announced her second solo Exhibition "Nari Katha". After the affluence of her debut solo exhibition 'Imagining Neverland' Soumita is all set come up with Nari Katha. " Nari Katha enunciates the veiled commiseration of women. I have always observed that nothing is more multifarious and multilayered than the life of women. Nari Katha narrates story of every women who dared to walk against the tide" said Soumita.
Soumita's paintings are not only lionized in India but also exhibited abroad including Portland's Art Museum's Art Reach Gallery.
