Vrudhi Edtech provide online education for children with differential needs & training for teachers

September 29: Vrudhi Edtech, a Mumbai based ed-tech startup that provides online education & training, has made great strides within a year of its launch in September 2020. The company has impacted over 7000 teachers, parents and children with their programs and services in the first year of their operations. The company provides online education for children with differential needs like Learning Disability, ADHD and Autism while also providing training courses for teachers of such children.

Keeping in mind how the pandemic caused over 92% of children to lose their literacy skills and 82% of numeracy skills due to the absence of technical support, infrastructure and limited awareness of online teaching, Vrudhi Edtech has attempted to up-skill teachers and bridge the gap for children with different needs. The company has also launched 15 courses for teachers through their teacher training platform named ‘Learn Studio’, in partnership with Missouri State University and Hashu Advani College of Special Education.

“We contributed significantly towards better inclusion by upskilling teachers and parents, thus improving awareness and better acceptance in both schools and homes.” says Dr. Dhaval Mody, CEO, Vrudhi Edtech Pvt Ltd. “Our services aim to provide easy access to world-class special education to children with differential needs,” he adds.

Over the course of their first year, around 1000 teachers have been trained and the online special education platform now has the capacity to train at least 500 children with special needs.
