She has done consultancy for thousands of Entrepreneurs and start-ups, trained more than 4,500 people in the Business world and in developing soft skills which include time management, public speaking, communication, and branding & marketing.
Rashida Burhanpurwala is a big name in the corporate world. During our discussion, we asked her several questions and she replied to each one of them patiently and with much honesty.
How will you Introduce Yourself to the world?
Rashida Burhanpurwala is a highly successful business & career counsellor, Trainer and Eduprenuer. She told us that over the years, she has done consultancy for thousands of Entrepreneurs, trained more than 4,500 people in the Business world and in developing soft skills which include time management, public speaking, communication, and branding & marketing.
What is the most important thing for you in your profession?
According to Burhanpurwala, the most important thing for her is her mission that is, to help people explore themselves, to help them know their inner potential, get them trained in the respective direction wherein their strength lies so that the struggling and suffering is reduced in their near and also, to some extent, in the society as a whole.
What are your biggest achievements?
She is a registered Brain Mapping Consultant from DMRC ( Singapore). She had not only been appointed as the Vice President of IICCB (Indian Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Bureau ) West but also as the President of the BNI (Business Network International) legends chapter.
Adding cherry on top of the cake, she has been awarded as the “Woman Business Coach” by Substance awards and “Best Professional Trainer Global award” by Growing Entrepreneurs.
Recently, she has been working as a Business counsellor & Trainer at International events for Business at Tijaarat Al Raabehah. She has also worked as a corporate and soft skills trainer for various other institutes over the years.
What are the major challenges that you have faced or are currently facing?
Being a woman in this patriarchal society is the biggest challenge that Burhanpurwala had to face during her initial days as a professional. She said that as a woman, initially, you have to put in a lot of effort to prove yourself in this profession.
Apart from this, there are several other challenges that she has to face daily. She describes lack of awareness about the importance of choosing the right career or profession and getting help for the same as a major issue.
She says, “We live in a society where people hesitate to go for Brain Mapping test before choosing a career, business or a profession. Like we get our medical tests done before getting the treatment for any disease, similarly should be the case when it comes to choosing a profession, career or business. Brain Mapping test can save a lot of time and money in the long run”.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next five years, Burhanpurwala sees herself as the most humble International TEDx trainer who has changed the lives of more than 50 lakhs people by guiding them to find THE Job, Career or Profession.
She is also confident that she would be giving skilled-based Training in her organization, Rizerz Professional Training Academy (TM), helping people to upskill themselves and identifying their inner potential by Brain Mapping test and consultancy in order to be productive in this fast trending world.
What advice would you like to give to the young entrepreneurs?
The top three pieces of advice that Burhanpurwala had for her fellow entrepreneurs are –
- Do self-analysis.
- Take help from a professional coach or counsellor so that they can evaluate your shortcomings and train you accordingly.
- Always have an ideal, the one who is the most successful in that particular field, and follow them.
