Pareshbhai, who founded an intellectual property service provider boutique, called “IP Moment” at the age of 43.

“Innovation” skill, one of the important skills that will be sought by the employer in the coming years, this is recognized on various international platforms, such as WEF-2018, WEF-2020, The Bloomberg Job Skills study, AMA critical skills survey, and IBM global C-suite studies. We all are well aware that how the “innovation” skill is related to the intellectual property rights (IPR). Good protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights (IPR) are keys to promoting international technology transfer, which is important for economic growth, especially in developing economies, such as India. Further, when we are focusing on the building of “ATMANIRBHARBHARAT” and promoting “VOCAL FOR LOCAL”, the awareness of intellectual property rights and increasing IPRs for India is a must.

You’re Entrepreneur Journey?

When I was working from 2000 to 2016, whenever I introduce myself, saying basically I am from GUJARAT. Then most of the people, used to ask, “WHY YOU ARE WORKING ON SALARY? ALL GUJARATI DO BUSINESS”. So, there is the belief in the mind of people, that Gujaratis are a business community. I also believe yes, there is something in the soil & water of Gujarat that we all Gujarati understand the profit & loss and how to earn money very quickly. Let me share one incident that happens during my school days, where I learned the first time how to save money, during those days the school books used to be printed by the government only. Our school teachers guided us that if we buy books in bulk directly from the government official wholesalers, we can save around 25 to 50 paisa per book. If we buy books for the whole class, then we can save some good money. During my primary school days, I was involved in the team, which manages the collection and purchase of the fund. Basically, how to manage expenses and earn money started during the school days only. Then there were many small instances where I learned how to save and earn monies. In 2016, when I had to quit my job due to different reasons and had to start working by myself. That time, I realize the meaning of “YOUR REAL NETWORK IS YOUR NETWORK”. I started receiving work from my friends and from their contacts. It helped me a lot to establish, IP Moment Services. Later by putting one stone at a time, I manage to build our small strong IP boutique. Now we have 250+ happy customers, filed 600+ patent applications, 250+ trademarks, and 25 copyrights, and 75+ designs. We have 5 members team and we also worked with other national & international associates on a contractual basis as well.

What is your Message for the YoungPreneurs?

The first message would be LDIY, learn and do it by yourself. During this journey of entrepreneur from 2016 till date, I am taking care of most of our activities, such as advertising, contacting the clients, lead generation, running social media posts, publications, video creating, poster preparation, writing technical articles, and connecting with the people. Then control your expenses – at the beginning do not spend money on the office setup and hiring staff, because all will increase your overhead budget. Instead, spend this amount on your advertising and other activities. As I have learned, “Jo Dikhta Hai Wo Bikta Hai”. One way to control is to hire the freelancers internationally from online portals for various other activities. Then always give back to the society, by way of sharing the knowledge and information, providing the right information, and giving work to others. Creating Awareness is also an important part, related to your products or services make the people aware of products/service benefits. Collaborating and helping others is also very essential steps for growing the business. Last and very important, always focused on quality and follow transparent communication with your clients and whoever knocks on your door.

Final Message – as we are going towards making ATMANIRBHAR INDIA and have a mission to build a five trillion USD economy, we have lots of opportunities, so keep hard-working and work towards achieving your target.
